Basketball Court Lighting Fixtures

There are seven key points for the layout regulations of outdoor basketball court fixtures:

First, the lighting pole arrangement should adopt a two-side layout on both sides of the court;

Second, fixtures should not be arranged within a 20° range along the baseline from the center point of the basket on either side;

Third, the distance between the bottom of the light pole and the sideline of the court should not be less than 1 meter;

Fourth, the height of the fixtures should ensure that the angle between the vertical line from the fixture to the centerline of the court and the plane of the court should not be less than 25 degrees;

Fifth, under any lighting method, the arrangement of light poles should not obstruct the sightlines of spectators;

Sixth, symmetrical fixture arrangements should be used on both sides of the court to provide the same lighting;

Seventh, the installation height of fixtures for competition courts should not be less than 12 meters, and for training courts, it should not be less than 8 meters.
